How It Works

We developed NXGIVE as a way to help support charities and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. The program is simple: you promote NXGIVE to merchants who are interested in supporting your organization or cause. Each time a participating merchant processes a credit card or check electronically—or sells a gift card—you receive a donation.

If your organization processes payments for donations, membership fees, merchandise purchases or events, you can even set yourself up as a “referred” merchant and earn residual income from your own transactions.

And one more very important advantage: in many cases, merchants will actually make money by participating in the program and supporting your organization.

Does it sound too good to be true? Here’s how it works: every time a business—any business—accepts a credit or debit card, they pay a fee to the payment processor. With NXGIVE, a portion of that fee automatically goes to you; Payroc donates a percentage of our profit on each eligible transaction.

What does that mean for your organization?

A $100 transaction would generate a donation of $0.04–0.12 for your organization.

If the business averages $50,000 in transactions each month you would receive between $20–60, or $240–720 in annual donations from just one merchant.

Getting Started With NXGIVE

With a few easy steps, you can set up your own recurring donation stream with NXGIVE.

1. Promote the NXGIVE program to members and associated merchants. There is no up-front cost or risk to a merchant; all they have to do is agree to a free analysis of their current payment processing costs.

That’s it. Recruiting merchants to support you by participating in the program is the only thing you have to do. Payroc assists you with developing and implementing promotional tools, marketing, lead generation and recruitment strategy. Plus, Payroc handles all of the remaining steps and assumes all of the risk.

2. Prospective merchants provide copies of their current processing statements to Payroc for analysis.

3. Payroc provides the merchants with a free analysis of their current processing costs and their potential savings by switching to Payroc. In most cases, Payroc will be able to meet or beat a merchant’s current processing rate.

4. When a merchant begins using Payroc for payment processing, it automatically creates another recurring donation stream to you. You receive a percentage of Payroc’s profits from all eligible transactions, including credit card processing, gift card sales and electronic check processing.

5. Payroc provides you with donation tracking and reporting.
